Education

I graduated in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  I hope to accept a teaching position in grades 4-8 in the near future.

Major: Elementary Education (General Option with a Middle School Endorsement)
Concentrations: General Science, Language Arts, Social Sciences, and Business/Marketing/Management
Minors: Psychology and Computer/Managment Information Systems

In Illinois, a teacher must have logged 9 credit hours of coursework to teach a subject for less than 50% of the day. Under this rule, I am also able to teach Health Education and Mathematics for less than half of the school day.
